A man named Marc Isaacs makes a documentary on residents personality and finds out what really matters to them, all from the elevator that the residents use on a day to day basis.

This movie is a really weird concept, however it is interesting to see how the residents build the trust with Marc
The people in the documentary at first are very wary and don't know how to take marc, but as the filming continues the resident deem to open up more telling marc more of what's happening in there life and seem to trust him as the days go on.

This was more of a real life documentary, showing the different styles of real lifestyles, cultures and background and the different ways people live there everyday life's and the challenges they face on a daily basis.
- Thinking about the proximity and awkwardness of the filmmaker and location to the filmmaker do you think that this helps the narrative form naturally or do you think it forces a story?
I think that it does force a natural story as the way marc is continuously in the lift and the residents have no choice but to get in the life and talk to him ,the way the residents eventually warm to marc and open up to tell him the ins and outs of there life they seem to trust him after a while a bit like a agony aunt with some residents. I think it was awkward at first and that the residents may have found it strange someone filming in a lift but seemed to be the normal as the days went on.
- If it had involved the specific level of planning that you usually associate with the factual genre and used footage of the people outside of the lift do you think it would have been as good? Or better?
I think if the film was more planned out it could f been a bit better but not by much as this documentary is real people real lives and real situation .i personally don't think you can get better that real life scenarios.
